Massimo is a professor of economics and political science at Bocconi university and his research is at the intersection of the two disciplines. He has published on all top journals in both disciplines and currently his main research areas or research agendas concern populism, geopolitical transformation, legislative activity, bureaucracy, discrimination and technological change.
The FNR ( Luxembourg National Research Fund) project on AI and Discrimination (TechnoDiscrimination) is the main activity at LISER, and the hope is to produce new theory and new algorithms for the fostering of productivity matching and equal opportunity on the labor market when recruiting and other firms’ activities change with AI adoption.
