Nina Pavcnik is Niehaus Family Professor of International Studies and Professor of Economics at Dartmouth College. Her research interests are at the intersection of international trade, economic development, and industrial organization. Her research examines how households, workers, and firms respond to globalization. She is a NBER Research Associate, CEPR Research Affiliate, and BREAD Senior Fellow. She currently serves as a co-editor of the Journal of International Economics and is a member of the World Bank Research Committee. She received a B.A. in Economics from Yale University in 1994 and earned a Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University in 1999.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in January 2015.
