Enkelejda Havari is a Research Economist at the European Commission, Joint Research Centre (JRC). She is part of the Competence Centre on Microeconomic Evaluation which aims at performing ex-post evaluations of EU funded programmes. Previously, she was a Post-doctoral scholar at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice and a Lecturer at Boston University.

She obtained her PhD in Econometrics and Empirical Economics from the University of Rome “Tor Vergata” in 2012 and a Master in Economics from the University of Bologna in 2008.

Her main research interests lie in the fields of labour economics, policy evaluation, inequality and social mobility, the economics of education and migration.

Enkelejda Havari joined IZA as a Research Fellow in December 2020.
