Kurt Lavetti is an assistant professor of economics at Ohio State University.
Professor Lavetti's research in labor and health economics focuses on empirical estimation of compensating wage differentials, the determinants of job mobility and impacts of non-competition contracts, physician labor markets and organizations, and health insurance.
Prior to joining Ohio State in 2013, he was a Robert Wood Johnson Scholar in Health Policy Research at the University of California, Berkeley. He received a Ph.D. from Cornell University in 2011.
