Andreas Kuhn is a senior researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training. He received his Ph.D. in economics in April 2008 from the University of Zurich. He is mainly interested in empirical labor economics and applied microeconometrics, especially evaluation methods.
His current research is in the area of empirical labor and health economics, including research on the effects of job-loss on health, the long-run effects of economic conditions at the time of first entry into the labor market on wages and job mobility, the perception and evaluation of wage inequality, and the relation between cohort size and labor market performance.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in January 2009.
