Marc Gurgand is professor at the Paris School of Economics, research fellow at Crest and Scientific Director of Jpal-Europe. His main research fields are education and labor policy, with a strong emphasis on public policy evaluation and randomized control trials. He has published in the Journal of Political Economy, the Quarterly Journal of Economics, the Review of Economic Studies, the Review of Economics and Statistics and other journals.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2011.
