Bart K. de Koning is a postdoctoral researcher at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In his research, he mainly uses field experiments to understand how expectations, information and guidance shapes individuals' human capital investments, labor supply decisions, and long-term outcomes.

Before joining Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Bart was a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Maastricht University in 2022.
