Panka Bencsik is an Assistant Professor and C. Family Dean’s Faculty Fellow of Medicine, Health, and Society and of Public Policy at Vanderbilt University, College of Arts and Science. She is an applied microeconomist, and her research covers the fields of health economics, crime economics, and public economics. Before joining Vanderbilt University, she received her PhD in Economics from the University of Sussex and was a Fulbright Fellow at the Brookings Institution in Washington, DC. Subsequently, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Chicago, where she remains an affiliate.
