Annalisa is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics of the University of Bologna (Italy).

She is an applied microeconomist with a primary interest in labor economics and education economics. Her current research focuses on human capital development, school value added and the determinants of educational choices. She got her PhD from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and Barcelona School of Economics in 2019.

Annalisa joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in April 2023.
