Daniela Vuri is Associate Professor at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" since 2013 and also acts as Associate Chairman at the Department of Economics and Finance since June 2013. She studied statistics and economics at the University of Rome "La Sapienza", where she received her degree with distinction in 1996. Afterwards she took her Master's degree in 1998 at the Coripe Piemonte, and her PhD in Economics at the European University Institute in Florence in 2003. In May 2001 she became a member of the newly established Center for Household Income, Labor and Demographic Economics (CHILD).
In November 2001, she became Assistant Professor in Economics at the University of Florence, and from 1 November 2006 she moved to the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Her main research interests are in applied labor economics, economics of the family and microeconometrics.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2001 and became a Research Fellow in February 2004.
