John Forth is a Senior Lecturer in Human Resource Management at Cass Business School (City University of London) and a Fellow of the National Institute of Economic and Social Research (NIESR). He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2019.

His research focuses on the organisation of firms and its implications for employee well-being and productivity. He has particular interests in the economic returns to human resource (HR) practices, the impact of employment regulation and how firms' choices of HR policies affect labour market inequality.
