Thomas Cornelissen
Thomas Cornelissen
Research Fellow

Thomas Cornelissen is a Professor of Economics at the University of Essex, United Kingdom. He was previously at the University of York (2015-2019) and at University College London (2008-2015).

His research interests are in empirical labour economics and applied microeconometrics, in particular in the economics of education and personnel economics.

His works have in published among others in American Economic Review, Journal of Political Economy, American Economic Journal: Economic Policy, Labour Economics, Journal of Health Economics, Journal of Economic Behavior & Organization, Economics of Education Review, Economics Letters, The Stata Journal, and German Economic Review.

Thomas joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2016.
