Gabriel Ulyssea is an associate professor in the economics department at UCL and a Research Fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago and his main research interests include economic development and labor economics. His main research interests include economic development and labor economics. His current work focuses on informality, the labor market effects of labor regulation and trade and the role of firms in economic development.

Gabriel Ulyssea became a Research Fellow in July 2018.
