Francesca Salvati is a PhD candidate in Economics at University College London, expecting to earn her degree in Spring 2021.

She is an applied microeconomist with a strong interest in labor economics and its intersection with the economics of human capital, health economics and the economics of the family. Her current research focuses on the determinants and dynamics of health and skill formation over the life cycle and their interaction with education and labor supply decisions, and the design and evaluation of educational and employment policies.

Francesca Salvati joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2021.
