Clément Malgouyres is a researcher in economics at the Institut des politiques publiques (IPP) and is a research affiliate at Paris School of Economics. Previously, he worked as a research economist at the Banque de France. He received his Ph.D. in 2016 at the European University Institute under the supervision of Pr. Jérôme Adda.
Clément’s main areas of interest include labor, spatial and public economics with an emphasis on firm taxation. His research includes both theoretical and empirical analysis on different topics including the interactions between new technologies and trade, the pass-through of taxes into wages and profits, the interaction between personal and corporate taxation as well as job displacement.
Clément Malgouyres joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in December 2020.
