Martin Guzi is an Assistant Professor at Masaryk University in Brno. He earned his Ph.D. in Economics at CERGE-EI in 2013. Martin Guzi stayed at IZA as a Resident Research Affiliate in 2009/2013 and became an IZA Research Fellow in December 2015.

Martin Guzi has published several papers on the analysis of immigrants’ integration in the labor market and co-authored reports for the European Commission on the inclusion of immigrant communities and impacts of growing inequalities. His research interests are labour economics and applied econometrics, with a focus on migration, income adequacy, subjective well-being, social welfare schemes, public policy and program evaluation.
