Adam M. Lavecchia

Adam M. Lavecchia is an Assistant Professor of Economics at McMaster University. Before joining McMaster University, Adam was an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of Ottawa. He received his PhD in economics from the University of Toronto in 2017.

Adam’s research interests are in public economics and labor economics. His past and ongoing work includes studying the role of the minimum wage as part of an optimal tax and transfer scheme, the effect of taxes and policies to enhance retirement income on savings behavior and the effect of comprehensive educational interventions on the academic achievement and labor market outcomes of at-risk youth.

Adam joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in September 2020.
