Delphine Boutin
Research Fellow

Delphine Boutin is Associate Professor at the University of Bordeaux (Bordeaux School of Economics). Before she was Associate Professor at the Center for Studies and Research in International Development (CERDI) - University of Auvergne (France). She received a PhD from the University of Bordeaux in 2012. She previously worked as a research consultant for the International Labour Organisation (ILO)and for the Understanding Children’s Work project (UCW).

Delphine Boutin is interested in topics linking household and labour economics in developing countries. Her research includes empirical works about children’s time allocation, youth employment, remittances and vulnerability to climate change.

She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2014.
