Pascal Heß is a Senior Researcher at the Institute for Employment Research (IAB). He received his PhD from the Research Center for Education and the Labour Market (ROA) at the University of Maastricht.
His research interests lie in empirical economics, with a focus on labor markets and education. Currently, he is investigating disadvantaged groups in the school-to-work transition and behavioral aspects of labor market dynamics. His research uses a variety of econometric tools as well as administrative and survey data.
