Stefani Milovanska-Farrington, Ph.D. is an Associate Teaching Professor of Economics at the University of Tampa. She is the creator of “Choice: Economics materials for success” on Substack where she posts free worksheets with questions based on recent and interesting news articles designed for Principles of Economics courses. She currently works on this project in collaboration with the Foundation for Economic Education. Stefani is also the author of a textbook in Principles of Microeconomics and has experience in creating educational resources for MRU and FEE. She has also worked as a Director of Assessment at UTampa and is a member of several professional affiliations, FEE curriculum consultant, a CSWEP liaison for UTampa, and an IZA Research Affiliate, serves on the Academy of Economics and Finance (AEF) Teaching Fellows Committee, and is an AEF Director. Her research interests include Microeconomics, Economics teaching, Labor, Health, Education, and Family economics. She has published articles in academic journals including The Journal of Economic Education, Journal for Economic Educators, Journal of Economics Teaching, Economics and Human Biology, Journal of Family and Economic Issues, Education Economics, Journal of Economic Studies and others. In the last five years, she has published more than 20 peer-reviewed academic articles, and was awarded a Researcher of the Year Award by the Sykes College of Business at UTampa in 2022. She has also delivered many presentations and has led teaching trainings.
