Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln

Nicola Fuchs-Schündeln is professor for Macroeconomics and Development at Goethe University Frankfurt. Prior to joining the faculty of Goethe University in 2009, she was a faculty member at Harvard University. She received her PhD in economics from Yale University in 2004. Her current research focuses on the analysis of household saving and labor supply behavior, labor market integration, and the endogeneity of economic preferences. Fuchs-Schündeln is a Director and Editorial Board Member at the Review of Economic Studies, and a Managing Editor of Economic Policy. She has published in leading economic journals, among others the American Economic Review and the Quarterly Journal of Economics.

She joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2010.
