Astrid Kunze has a PhD from University College London. Her research interests include labour economics (human capital, wage differentials, wage discrimination and migration) and applied microeconometrics (panel data models and instrumental variable estimators).
From April 2000 until November 2002, she was a Research Associate at IZA in Bonn. She is currently Associate Professor of Economics at the NHH Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen. From August 2006 until June 2007 she stayed at IZA as a Visiting Research Fellow.
