Kaveh Majlesi

Kaveh Majlesi is a Professor of Economics at Monash University and a part-time Professor at the Department of Economics at Lund University.

He has a PhD in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Public Administration/International Development from Harvard University. Very broadly, Kaveh is interested in Household Finance, Political economy, and Labor economics. His current research focuses on different economic agents' response to labor market shocks as well as the causes and consequences of asset portfolio choice at the individual and household level.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2016 and became an IZA Fellow in November 2021.
