Kerry Papps is professor of economics at the University of Bradford. Previously, he was a postdoctoral research fellow at the Department of Economics and Nuffield College, Oxford, and a senior lecturer in economics at the University of Bath. He received his Ph.D. in labour economics from Cornell University in 2007. Among other topics, his research has focused on labour supply decisions within households, the effects of the minimum wage and how sports data can be used to examine how workplaces are organised. Kerry has been a recipient of the A.R. Bergstrom Prize in Econometrics and a Fulbright Scholarship.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in November 2001 and became a Research Fellow in May 2008.
