Sabrina Wulff Pabilonia works as a research economist in the Office of Productivity and Technology at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). She is also a board member on the Society of Government Economists and Care Board Advisory Board. She received her bachelor’s degree in economics from Smith College and Ph.D. in economics from the University of Washington. Her current research interests include the relationship between remote work, wages, and productivity; the effects of COVID-19 on the labor market; measuring the self-employed; time allocation of teenagers; and productivity dispersion within detailed industries. She has published in leading international journals such as the Journal of Human Resources, Small Business Economics, Economics of Education Review, and Labour Economics.
Dr. Pabilonia joined IZA as a Research Fellow in her personal capacity in March 2012.
