Giorgio Di Pietro

Giorgio Di Pietro is a Senior Researcher at the European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Seville. Previously he was a Reader in the Economics of Education at the Westminster Business School in London. He obtained his PhD from the University of Roskilde in 1999.

His main research interests are empirical issues in the field of the economics of education. Among others, he has published in journals such as Journal of Population Economics, Economics Letters, Economics of Education Review, Education, Finance & Policy, Regional studies, Empirical Economics and Applied Economics.

Giorgio Di Pietro joined IZA as a Research Fellow in April 2009.
