I am a professor at the École normale supérieure – PSL (on secondment from Université Paris Dauphine – PSL) and an associated researcher at PSE-Ecole d’économie de Paris. I am also affiliated to J-PAL (Abdul Latif Jameel Poverty Action Lab), EUDN (European Development Network), and IZA@LISER Network. My research interests are: Development Economics, Economics of Education, Entrepreneurship, Health Economics, Economic History. My work focuses on the determinants of poverty and inequality and on public policies aimed at reducing them, particularly through education.
