Johannes Geyer is a Senior Researcher at DIW Berlin and deputy Head of the department of Public Economics at DIW Berlin.

He received his Ph.D in Economics at the Graduate Center of DIW Berlin and Freie Universität in Berlin. In his research he mainly focusses on pension economics, health and long-term care. Recent articles have been published in the Journal of Human Resources, Labour Economics and Industrial Relations.
