Clémentine Van Effenterre is a WAPPP Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School. She received her Ph.D. in September 2017 at the Paris School of Economics under the supervision of Pr. Thomas Piketty.
Clémentine’s main areas of interest include labor, education, and empirical political economy. Her research includes both theoretical and empirical analysis on different topics including the impact of institutional constraints on maternal labor supply, the gender gap in science, the effect of offspring’s gender on parental political beliefs and the gender structure at the top of the earnings distribution.
She joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in June 2016.
