Laurent Gobillon is full-time researcher and co-head of the economic demography research unit at the Institut National d'Etudes Démographiques (INED) in France. He is also affiliated to the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR). He is currently associate editor of the Journal of Housing Economics and the Journal of Regional Science. His main fields of interest are: labour economics, urban economics, economic geography, housing and health. He is currently working on the evaluation of the impact of enterprise zones on employment, and on the effect of agglomeration economies on local wages.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in April 2012.
