Stéphane Carcillo is a Associate Professor at Sciences Po. He received his PhD in Economics at the University Panthéon Sorbonne in 2000.
His research fields are applied and theoretical labour economics. His most recent work focuses on employment protection legislation and discrimination. He also works on the topics of the minimum wage, hiring subsidies, working hours and youth policies. His papers have been published in the Review of Economic Studies, the Journal of Labor Economics, Economic Policy and the Journal of the European Economic Association, among others.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in March 2007.
