Charles Bellemare is Professor of Economics at Laval University in Quebec City. He holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Center for Economic Research of Tilburg University. His main research interests are studying the economic performance of immigrants, microeconometric methods, and behavioral and experimental economics.

He joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in January 2004 and became a Research Fellow in October 2006.
