Lukas Althoff is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Stanford University, affiliated with the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research (SIEPR). His research focuses on long-run economic progress and inequality, drawing from the tools of labor economics and economic history.

Lukas Althoff joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in March 2023.
