Andrés Barrios Fernández is an Assistant Professor at the School of Business and Economics at the Universidad de Los Andes. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Economics at LSE in 2019. His research interests cover different topics in labor and public economics, but he primarily works on the economics of education. Through his research, he aims to contribute to understanding and tackling inequality in educational attainment and in access to opportunities.
