Erwin Winkler is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. He is an applied microeconomist with research interests in labor economics, digitization and technological change, health and labor economics. In ongoing projects, he studies the determinants and consequences of working conditions, the labor market effects of new technologies, the impact of labor market policies, and the determinants of economic inequality. His work combines econometric methods, experimental methods, and machine learning to address policy-relevant questions. His research has been published in journals like The Revíew of Economics and Statistics and European Economic Review.
