Tanya Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in Economics at the University of Glasgow.
Tanya received her PhD from Royal Holloway, University of London. Her main research interests are in the economics of the family, education and health. She is the recipient of the 2016 Royal Economic Society Prize, and was awarded the Sir Alec Cairncross Prize from the Scottish Economic Society in 2017. She has contributed to Scottish Parliament Inquiries on the Gender Pay Gap in Scotland and Scotland’s Economic Performance.
Tanya joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in June 2017 and became a Rearch Fellow in December 2023.
