Enrico Rettore is currently Professor of Econometrics at the Dept. of Economics and Management, University of Padova, and affiliated to FBK-IRVAPP (Trento). His research interests cover a variety of fields of econometrics, ranging from methodological aspects to more applied work in labour economics and programme evaluation. On these topics he has published in various journals, including the American Economic Review, the Journal of Econometrics, the Review of Economics and Statistics. He has extensively worked in the evaluation of welfare and labour market programmes in Italy. He has been the principal investigator of projects funded by the Italian Ministry of Education and Ministry of Economy and Finance, among others.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in February 2013 and visited IZA for an extended period in 2014.
