Panu Pelkonen is an Associate Professor in Economics at University of Sussex.

Panu's research interests focus on Labour Economics and Economics of Education, but he is also working on topics in Political Economy and Development Economics.

He has studied at University College London (PhD, 2009), University of Warwick (MSc, 2002) and University of Helsinki (MSocSc, 2001).

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2011.
