Riccardo Rovelli is Alma Mater Professor at Alma Mater Studiorum - Università di Bologna, where he was Professor of Economics until 2022.
He teaches Economics of the European Union.
His research interests have included macro and monetary economics and the economics of labor market institutions.
He is now focused on the EU and all matters related to the Green Transition.
He has published articles in the European Economic Review, European Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of Macroeconomics, Journal of Money Credit and Banking, and in the IZA World of Labor.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in August 2004.
