Luca Nunziata is Professor of Economics at the University of Padua. He received his Laurea from the University of Bologna, his Mphil and PhD from the University of Oxford. He has been a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow at the London Business School, and a Lecturer and Research Fellow at Nuffield College, Oxford. His main research interests include applied econometrics, labour market institutions, entrepreneurship, social capital and culture, unemployment and macroeconomic dynamics.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in November 2003.
