Marco G. Palladino is a research economist at the Banque de France and an adjunct professor at Sciences Po's School of Public Affairs. He is also a research affiliate of the OECD-LinkEED network.
He earned his Ph.D. in Economics from Sciences Po and his Master’s degree in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi University.
His research examines how firms and labor market institutions influence wages and employment using large-scale administrative data from multiple countries. His work covers the role of firms in wage determination and the role of fixed-term contracts in employment adjustment.
He joined IZA as a research affiliate in March 2026.
