Feicheng Wang is an Associate Professor (with tenure) at the Faculty of Economics and Business, University of Groningen.

He earned his PhD in Economics from the University of Nottingham in 2017. Subsequently, he worked as a postdoc at the Department of Economics at the University of Göttingen.

His research analyses issues concerning the consequences of globalisation, with a focus on labour market outcomes and China. He is also interested in topics related to development economics and environmental economics. His work has been published in the American Economic Journal: Applied Economics, Journal of International Economics, Journal of Human Resources, Journal of Development Economics, and Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, among others.

Feicheng Wang joined the IZA network as a Research Affiliate in 2021 and was promoted to a Research Fellow in 2025.
