Ugo Colombino, Ph. D. London School of Economics 1985, is Professor Emeritus of Economics at the Department of Economics Cognetti De Martiis of the University of Torino. He is a member of CHILD – Centre for Household, Income, Labor and Demographic economics. He has published several contributions in the areas of incentives and income taxation, income support mechanisms, empirical optimal taxation, labor supply, preferences for environmental and cultural goods, demand for telecommunication services.

He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in May 2009.
