Lena Janys

Lena Janys is a Professor of Econometrics at the University of Konstanz. She works in both theoretical and applied microeconometrics, primarily within health and labour economics.

Previously, she was a lecturer at Newcastle University Business School, an assistant professor at the University of Bonn, and a postdoc at the University of Mannheim. She studied at Humboldt University in Berlin and received her Ph.D. from the University of Aarhus.

Lena Janys joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in October 2018 and became a Research Fellow in December 2023.
