Duong Trung Le is an Economist at the World Bank in Washington, D.C. He received a Ph.D. in Economics and an MBA in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University, and was previously a Postdoctoral Associate at Duke University.

His research examines how three broad forces — technological change, environmental pressures, and institutional quality — shape labor markets and firm dynamics in developing economies. His work spans the economic effects of industrial automation, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence (technology); marine conservation, climate shocks, and environmental pollution (environment); and infrastructure provision, tax compliance, and political restructuring (institution).
