Esther Arenas-Arroyo is an Associate Professor at Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU). She completed her Ph.D. at Queen Mary University of London. Before joining WU, She was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Oxford's Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS).

Her research covers topics in the fields of Labour Economics, Migration and Applied Microeconometrics.

Esther Arenas-Arroyo joined IZA as a Research Affiliate in February 2019.
