Dan Zeltzer

Dan Zeltzer is an Associate Professor of Health Economics at the School of Public Health, University of California, Berkeley. Previously, he was a tenured faculty member at the Berglas School of Economics, Tel Aviv University, and a visiting Koret Scholar at the Department of Economics and SIEPR, Stanford University. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from Princeton University.

His research focuses on the impact of digital technology on healthcare.

Zeltzer’s work has been supported by the Israel Science Foundation and published in leading journals including the American Economic Journals, the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of the European Economic Association, the Journal of Health Economics, and Annals of Internal Medicine.

Dan Zeltzer became a Research Affiliate in October 2017 and a Research Fellow in December 2023.
