Matthew Rablen is a Reader in Economics at the University of Sheffield. He received his Ph.D in Economic from the University of Warwick. He has published articles in refereed journals including the Economic Journal, Journal of Health Economics, and Journal of Economic Psychology. His research interests are in applied microeconomic theory, with a particular emphasis on behavioural economics. His current research is related to the study of tax compliance, informal labour markets in developing countries, and the institutions of the United Nations.
He joined IZA as a Research Fellow in October 2011.
