Martin T. Clemens has been IZA Director of Administration since February 2006. His core tasks are in the areas of personnel and finance management, purchasing, IT, as well as infrastructure and project management. With a degree in German Studies, Romance Studies and Educational Science from the University of Bonn (1989), he started his professional career at Kaufhof Warenhaus AG as Director of Personnel Development for Young Professionals and Assistant to the Board of Management. Since 1996, he has held various personnel management positions at Deutsche Post World Net, as Head of Human Resources for Deutsche Post Consult until 1999, as Director of Human Resources for Deutsche Post Euro Express until 2002, and as Director of Human Resources for Deutsche Post Global Mail prior to his position at IZA. |
