Jungmin Lee is currently an Associate Professor at the School of Economics, Sogang University, Seoul, Korea. He was previously an assistant professor at FIU-Miami.
He received his Ph.D. in Economics at the University of Texas at Austin in May of 2004. His dissertation studies group decision-making processes, with emphasis on intra-household resource allocation mechanism. He attempted to identify unobservable underlying decision-making processes by exploiting cultural and institutional peculiarities. His general research interests are in labor economics, demography, and applied microeconomics.
He joined IZA as a research affiliate in December 2003 and became a Research Fellow in March 2006. |
